Pool Filter Cleaning, Repair and Replacement

A clean and properly working filter is essential for keeping your pool sanitary and clear. The objective of a pool filter is to remove dirt, debris and other contaminants from your pool water. Water should be passing through your filter for about 10-12 hours in the summertime.

The most common pool filter issues are:

  • High or low filter pressure
  • Dirty filter
  • Leaking filter
  • White powder accumulating on pool surface (if you have a DE filter)
  • Faulty filter gauge
  • Faulty backwash valve
  • Cloudy water
  • Pool water circulation issues

Pool Filter Cleaning

Our team cleans over 1,200 filters per year, so you can rest assured we know how to clean a filter!

Your pool filter needs to be cleaned, at least, every 6 months. Depending on the weather, or your individual pool, it may need to be cleaned more frequently.
During a filter cleaning, our team will fully disassemble the unit, inspect the internal components, repair as necessary, clean the unit and reassemble. If you have a DE filter, we will recharge with DE. If you have a salt system, we clean the salt cell at the same time.

Pool Filter Repair

Whether it’s a leak, broken backwash valve or strange gauge readings- we have you covered! Our non-commissioned team will evaluate the issue and provide our best recommendation to restore the health of your filter!

Pool Filter Replacement

Depending on the age and overall condition of your current filter, there will come a time when it makes more sense to replace rather than repair. This typically occurs when the housing of your filter is cracking, the cost of repair almost matches the cost of a new unit, or replacement parts are obsolete. We provide free estimates for installing new filters!
